Abstract

In the "New Normal" era, people cannot gather in queues when registering at the
hospital to receive outpatient services as usual. In order to continue serving people who
want to receive this service, Arjawinangun Regional Hospital uses an Independent
Registration Platform (APM). The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness
of the waiting time for the outpatient online registration platform system.
The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The
population in this study was all outpatient platform patients in January - March 2024
with a total of 29.593 patients and the sampling technique used the quota sampling
method. The sampling technique used observation with the research instrument used was
a checklist sheet.
The research results show that the use of self-registration platforms for
outpatients can be said to be effective because more and more patients are using these
machines for registration and can reduce waiting time while in the queue at the
registration counter. The results of 100 samples of outpatient self-registration patients
showed that patient accuracy in self-registration was 100%
This inaccuracy in self-registration for patients is caused by the network
sometimes interfering with the patient registration process.
