THE CORRELATION OF NURSING CARE QUALITY AND PATIENTS SATISFACTION IN DAHLIA HOSPITALIZATION RSUD WALED

The high public demand for nursing care and the emergence of competition in many
sectors, requires nurses to be able to complete by providing quality services, especially
nursing services. Nursing services are the main things that must be improved in
accordance with applicable nursing service standards. The purpose of thisreseach was
to determine whether there was a relationship between nursing care and patients
satisfaction in dahlia hospitalization RSUD waled. Correlation analytic research
design with cross sectional approach.
The population in this reseach were 1209 patiens at dahlia hospitalization. The
sampling technique of this research uses purposive sampling. The sample was 43
respondens. The instrumens of the reseach use questionnaires. Data analysis uses the
spearman rank test. The results of this research indicate that 34 patients (79,07%)
stated that the quality of nursing care was good and 33 of them had high satisfaction
(97,05%), and 1 person had sufficient (2,95%). Patients stated that the quality of
nursing care was sufficient for 9 patients (22,22%). The result of the spearman rank
test with an error value α=0,05 obtained a significance value of 0,001 so that H1 was
accepted, which means that there is a relationship between the quality of nursing care
and the level of patient satisfaction in the dahlia hospitalization with correlation level
0,477. So it can be concluded that the quality of nursing care, the higher the level of
patient satisfaction.
