Abstract

Health Workload Analysis is a method to find out and measure workload
numbers in the delivery of health services. There are 4 medical record officers at the
UPTD Plered Public Health Center, Cirebon Regency, including 2 registration officers, 1
assembling officer, and 1 filing officer, with a total of 45,373 patient visits in 2022.
Therefore, the workload figures obtained by medical record officers are quite high. The
purpose of this study was to determine the types of SDMK, available work time, workload
components and time norms, workload standards, supporting task standards, and
supporting task factors as well as the required SDMK needs.
This type of research uses the quantitative descriptive method. The instrument in
this study was an observation sheet. The population in this study was all medical record
officers. The sampling technique was total sampling, with the sample used totaling 4
medical record officers. This research was conducted at the UPTD Plered Public Health
Center, Cirebon Regency on 8-9 June 2023.
The results of the study using the Health Workload Analysis method in the
medical record unit at the UPTD Plered Public Health Center obtained data, including
that it required 1 registration officer, 2 assembling officers, and 3 filing officers. Thus,
there is a shortage of officers, namely in the assembling where it takes 1 officer and in the
filing where it requires 2 officers, while in the registration unit there is an excess of
officers, namely 1 registration officer.
Due to the inadequate number of medical record officers, it is necessary to add
additional officers so that the patient service process and the quality of medical records
can run more optimally.
