(KTI) SUITABILITY ASPECTS OF SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF MEDICAL RECORDS IN RSU UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH CIREBON

Security and Confidentiality are very important aspects in the management of
medical record, while the aspects in question include aspects of the physical environment,
chemical aspects, biological aspects and aspects of confidentiality of medical record. The
purpose of this study was to determine the security and confidentiality of medical record
at the Muhammadiyah University General Hospital in Cirebon.
This research uses desciptive research method. The population in this study used
all medical record officers at the Muhammadiyah University General Hospital in
Cirebon. The sample in this study used a total sampling technique with a research
instrument using a checklist sheet.
The result of research on the safety of medical records at the Muhammadiyah
University General Hospital in Cirebon, out of 15 points about medical recor security,
there were 8 that were in accordance with the medical record security Standard
Operating Procedure (SOP) with a percentage of 60% and 6 points that were not in
accordance with the medical record Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) with a
percentage of 40%.
For this reason, it is suggested to the hospital to socialize the importance of
maintaining security and confidentiality to officers so that apart from medical record
officers they cannot enter the medical record room storage area at will, and medical
record officers should better implement or carry out what has been set in the hospital. in
medical record SOPs.
