facilities. This research aims to identify the implementation of storing medical record
documents at the Sumber Health Center, Cirebon Regency.
This research uses a type of research in the form of descriptive qualitative. The
object used in this research is the medical record storage room at the Sumber Health Center,
Cirebon Regency.
The results of this study showed that there were medical record officers working
in the Medical Record Unit, namely 2 officers. The number of medical record documents
based on the average number of visits at the Sumber Health Center in Cirebon Regency in
2022 is 2.741 visits per month. There are 4 shelves for storing medical record files at the
Sumber Health Center, Cirebon Regency, each of which has 12 partitions for storing
medical record documents. The inability to make arrangements regarding the security and
privacy of medical record documents is caused by two main factors, namely the absence of
a folder for medical record documents and limited costs. Lack of folders or a clear structure
for storing and organizing medical documents can result in a risk of leakage or unauthorized
access. In addition, limited costs are also an obstacle in implementing an adequate security
system, such as the use of encryption technology and employee training. In this situation,
careful planning is needed to allocate available resources to prioritize the security and
privacy of medical record documents.
