Abstract

Providing electronic medical records is one part of medical record services.
Medical records have a central role in providing quality health services in hospitals. In
accordance with the Indonesian Ministry of Health No.129/Menkes/SK/2008 Minimum
Service Standards (SPM), the waiting time for providing electronic medical records for
outpatients is <10 minutes from the time the patient registers until the medical record data
is sent to the polyclinic. The aim of this study was to determine the waiting time for
providing electronic medical records for outpatients at the Kuningan Medical Center
General Hospital.
This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population of this
study is all electronic medical record data at the Kuningan Medical Center General
Hospital in the period April 2024, totaling 10,283 electronic medical record data.
Sampling was carried out by accidental sampling of 100 electronic medical record data.
The data collection technique uses the observation method with the research instrument
used is a checklist sheet.
The results of the research show that the minimum service standards for waiting
time for providing medical records for outpatients at the Kuningan Medical Center
Electronic General Hospital are in the categories according to standards (45%) and not
according to standards (55%). The waiting time for providing electronic medical records
for outpatients is still not up to standard, so it is hoped that hospitals will carry out regular
evaluations and observations on the provision of electronic medical records for
outpatients.
