Abstract

The function and benefits of the Medical Identity Card (KIB), is to search for
medical record documents belonging to patients who have been treated at the health
service provider. Old patients who do not carry an identity card when they are seeking
treatment will have difficulty finding the patient's medical record file. So that the
registration officer will create a new medical record file. Patients who have been treated
for treatment or received services at a health facility must carry a medical identification
card during treatment. The purpose of this study was to find out about patient care about
medical identity cards at the Sumber Public Health Center in 2023.
This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population of

with a total of 2599 patients. The sample of this study was patients at Sumber Public

sheet.
