Abstract
In the era of digitalized healthcare services, hospital accreditation serves as a
crucial instrument for ensuring service quality and patient safety. The medical record unit
plays a strategic role in supporting the success of accreditation due to its function as the
center for clinical and administrative information. This study aims to analyze the level of
preparedness of the medical record unit in facing the implementation of accreditation based
on STARKES 2024 standards at Muhammadiyah General Hospital in Cirebon City.
This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using data collection
instruments in the form of observation sheets and structured interview guides. The study
population consisted of all personnel in the medical record unit. Accreditation assessment
was conducted based on 13 MRMIK standards using a checklist instrument with an ordinal
rating scale. The research was carried out from April to May 2025 at the designated
location.
The results showed that among all MRMIK standards assessed, most categories
were classified as "Fully Met" (>80%), while the rest were "Partially Met" (51%-75%).
The highest scores were achieved in data security and information integrity aspects,
whereas staff training and documentation showed a lack of verification evidence
It can be concluded that the medical record unit at Muhammadiyah General
Hospital in Cirebon demonstrates a high level of readiness in supporting accreditation
implementation. These findings imply the need for continuous improvement in aspects that
are not yet fully optimized to achieve full compliance with accreditation standards
