Abstract

Technological developments have resulted in the transformation of the
digitalization of health services so that medical records need to be held electronically.
Human Resources Hospitals are very valuable assets because humans control all activities
in the hospital. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the readiness of
human resources in the application of electronic medical records at Muhammadiyah
Hospital in Cirebon City.
Design This research uses a descriptive research method with a quantitative
approach. The sample of this study is RME Users consisting of: doctors, nurses, midwives,
medical records and IT personnel. The subjects in the study were 48 officers with sampling
using Total Sampling. This research instrument uses an Observation Sheet (Checklist).
The results of the research obtained from 3 aspects that have been observed,
namely understanding and knowledge have been implemented, 98% of the ability to operate
computers has been carried out, 94% training has been carried out with a percentage of
21%, related to the readiness of human resources in the implementation of RME at the
Muhammadiyah Hospital in Cirebon City, there are still some officers who are not ready
in the implementation of RME.
Thus, the readiness of human resources in the implementation of RME in general
has been carried out well. However, as many as 24% are not suitable due to lack of
readiness in the implementation of RME, this is due to the lack of training related to RME
which is an obstacle in the implementation of RME, namely doctors do not want to input
signatures when filling out medical record documents due to age factors, as well as lack of
facilities and infrastructure and there are still many human resources such as doctors,
nurses, midwives who have not fully mastered the use of electronic medical records.
