Abstract

The implementation of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is part of the
digital transformation efforts in healthcare services. The success of this system’s
implementation depends not only on technical aspects but is also strongly influenced by the
level of user satisfaction, particularly among healthcare personnel directly involved in its
operation. This study aims to analyze the satisfaction level of medical record staff
regarding the use of EMR at Sumber Waras Hospital, Cirebon, using the End User
Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) approach, which includes five dimensions: content,
accuracy, format, timeliness, and ease of use.
This research employs a descriptive quantitative method. The sampling technique
used is saturated sampling, involving the entire population of 11 medical record officers.
The research instrument is a questionnaire using a 4-point Likert scale. Data were
analyzed using Microsoft Excel to calculate the average scores and Respondent
Achievement Level (TCR) for each dimension.
The results showed that the overall user satisfaction level with the EMR was in the
“fairly good” category, with an overall TCR score of 75.62%. The content dimension
achieved a TCR score of 78.43%, accuracy 72.75%, format 77.30%, timeliness 73.70%,
and ease of use 75.93%. Although the satisfaction level falls into the fairly good category,
certain aspects such as accuracy and system display still require improvement, particularly
concerning network stability and interface convenience.
This study is expected to serve as input for the hospital to improve the quality of its
EMR system and to support the development of a more effective and efficient system to
enhance optimal healthcare services.
