Abstract
Comprehensive care is a continuous and comprehensive midwifery service starting from
pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborns that connects women's health needs and
individual circumstances and is also important in reducing MMR and IMR.
This type of report uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The care methods
used are interviews, observation and documentation in the form of SOAP.
This case study aims to provide and implement midwifery care for Mrs. "M" G1P0A0 with
a gestational age of 38 weeks at the Gegesik Community Health Center from February to
May 2024. This type of report uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The
care provided is in the form of 2 visits for pregnancy, 1 time for delivery, 4 times for post-
partum and 4 times for newborns. During pregnancy, mothers complain of pain in the
stomach and waist which can be overcome by providing health education. The birth process
of Mrs. "M" was progressing normally at 40 weeks of gestation, no complications were
found and care was carried out with a birth ball so that the mother's labor went smoothly
and the pain was reduced. Mrs. "M"'s baby was born on April 16 2024 at 22.10 WIB, male,
crying strongly , with a BB of 2600 grams and a PB of 48 cm. During the postpartum
period, all examinations were normal and did not show any abnormalities during the moth-
er's postpartum period. In the care of newborns, no complications were found. After the
postpartum period ends, the mother uses MAL KB (Lactational Amenorrhea Method).
Suggestions for health workers, they can implement comprehensive care according to mid-
wifery service standards and follow developments in science.
