Abstract
Comprehensive midwifery care is care that is provided comprehensively starting
from pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum and the use of family plans which
aim to provide quality services to prevent maternal and child deaths. The purpose of the
study is to be able to provide comprehensive obstetric care for pregnant women in the
third trimester, maternity mothers, postpartum mothers, neonates, and family planning.
The method carried out in this study is continuity of care (COC) using SOAP
documentation. The research subject of Mrs. "S" during pregnancy in the third trimester,
childbirth, postpartum, neonatal and family planning at the UPTD Jamblang Health
Center, Crebon Regency on February 19, 2024 – May 21, 2024.
The results of treatment during the third trimester of pregnancy were obtained
by the mother found lower abdominal pain, and there was no gap between theory and
practice because the problem experienced by the mother was a physiological problem
that often occurred in pregnant women in the third trimester, and there was a gap
between theory and practice in laboratory examinations according to the theory carried
out 2x, but Mrs. "S" was carried out 3x to ensure normal Hb levels. Treatment during
childbirth is normal. Postpartum care went normally without complaints. BBL treatment
was not found to be a problem. Family planning care mothers choose to use 3-month
injectable birth control.
By being provided with comprehensive obstetric and KIE care, it is hoped that
it can be applied by clients so that mothers and babies remain healthy so that they can
reduce the Maternal and Infant Mortality Rate.
