Abstract

The breastfeeding rate in Indonesia has decreased significantly, in 2021 to 48.6% from
2018 of 58.2% of babies who are breastfed in the first hour of life. Only 52.5% were
exclusively breastfed in the first six months, from 64.5% in 2018. Oketani and Oxytocin
Massage is one of the breast treatment methods to increase breast milk production. This
case study aims to provide and implement comprehensive obstetric care, namely
comprehensive care starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborn as well
as contraceptive services. The subject of this final project report is Mrs. T G3P2A0 with a
gestational age of 39-40 weeks in the Babakan Health Center Work Area from February
to May 2024. This type of report uses a descriptive method with a case study approach.
The parenting methods used are anamnesis, observation and documentation in the form
of SOAP. The care provided is in the form of ANC 2 times, childbirth, postpartum 4 times
and newborn 3 times. During pregnancy the mother complained of pain in the abdomen
and waist which could be overcome by providing health education. Mrs. T's delivery
process took place normally, no complications were found and Mrs. T's baby was born on
March 4, 2024 at 04.50 WIB, female gender, crying strongly, with a birth weight of 3,900
grams and a body length of 51 cm. During the postpartum period, mothers complained of
insufficient milk production and could be overcome with breast care, oxytocin massage
and oketani. In the care of newborns, no complications were found. Mothers use IUD
contraceptives. Advice for patients, After this comprehensive obstetric care is carried out,
patients can improve their knowledge about pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborns
and Family Planning.
