Abstract
Comprehensive Midwifery Care is care that is provided comprehensively from
pregnancy, childbirth, newborn and postpartum until the mother decides to use family
planning. Which aims to provide continuity of care services to prevent complications in
pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum and family planning.
This type of report uses a descriptive method with a Case Study approach. Based
on the care methods used are interviews, observation, and documentation in the form of
SOAP, and the author carries out comprehensive midwifery care. The management carried
out is by collecting data, primary including results, observations, interviews, analysis,
SOAP format, and attached ultrasound results.
The results of this research were that the author provided care during pregnancy,
namely 1 first visit, 4 postpartum visits, 4 times for newborns, during pregnancy the mother
complained of pain in the waist. The birth process of Mrs. K progressed normally at 39
weeks of gestation without any complications. Management is still under the authority of a
midwife, so no Referral is needed.
From the conclusions of this study, the author concluded that Mrs. K during
pregnancy, childbirth, newborns and postpartum had no complications or complications.
Mrs. K's baby was born on March 14 2024 at 14.15 WIB, female, crying strongly, weighing
3,100 grams and body length 52 cm. After the postpartum period, mothers complain of
heartburn and pain in the suture area and breast milk still comes out a little. In postpartum
care, no complications were found after 40 days of the mother using the 2-month injectable
birth control contraceptive. suggestions for health workers to be able to provide
comprehensive midwifery services in accordance with midwifery care standards.
