Abstract

Comprehensive midwifery care is a continuous service covering pregnancy,
childbirth, postpartum, newborn care, and family planning. The purpose of this report
is to provide midwifery care to Mrs. R, 27 years old, G2P1A0, 37-38 weeks gestation,
at the Gebang Community Health Center in Cirebon Regency during February–May
2025.
The method used was a case study with a continuity of care approach. Data
were collected through interviews, observations, physical examinations, and SOAP
documentation. The results of care during pregnancy indicated that the condition of the
mother and fetus was within normal limits. Delivery occurred spontaneously on March
17, 2025, at 7:20 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). A baby boy was born, weighing
3300 grams, 53 cm long, with a strong cry, and Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD).
During the postpartum period, the condition of the mother and baby was good, and there
were no postpartum danger signs. The mother chose a 3-monthly contraceptive
injection.
The care provided was in accordance with midwifery standards and
demonstrated optimal results. This report is expected to serve as a reference for
healthcare professionals in providing continuous midwifery care.
