Abstract

Comprehensive midwifery care is care provided comprehensively starting from
pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborn babies, which is important for the
survival of the mother and baby, including being important for reducing MMR and
IMR. This case study aims to provide and implement midwifery care for Mrs. “S”
G1P0A0 with a gestational age of 36 weeks 6 days at the Pasaleman Health Center
February to May 2024.
This type of report uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The care
methods used are interviews, observation, documentation in SOAP form. The care
provided is in the form of 2 prenatal visits, 1 delivery, postpartum 4 times, newborn
times.
At the beginning of the visit the mother had no complaints. Birth of Mrs. "S"
progressed normally at 41 weeks 2 days of gestation without any complications.
Baby Mrs. "S" was born spontaneously on April 16 2024 at 11.50 WIB, female,
crying strongly, with a weight of 2700 grams and a PB of 51 cm. During the
postpartum period, the mother complained of a cough and cold from yesterday, a
little breast milk was coming out. In the care of newborns, no problems or

complications were found. After the postpartum period ended, the mother had not
used birth control because her husband worked outside the city, but the mother had
planned for a 3-month injection of birth control.
After the author provided pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn and family
planning care to Mrs. "S" aged 29 years P1A0 can be concluded that in providing
comprehensive midwifery services there are no gaps or signs of danger experienced
by mothers and newborns. Suggestions for health workers, and being able to
implement comprehensive care according to midwifery service standards and
following developments in science.
