Abstract

Childbirth is the process of expulsion of the fetus that occurs in full-term
pregnancies (37-42 weeks).
This final project report aims to implement Normal Childbirth Care
Management at Gunungsari Health Center in 2023 using the 7-step midwifery
care management approach according to Helen Varney and documentation in the
form of SOAP.
The results of the case study conducted on Mrs "S" with Normal Childbirth
Care were that there were no obstacles found in dealing with problems with
Normal Childbirth Care. In the management of Normal Childbirth Care for Mrs
"S" that is carried out by providing clean and safe care and making efforts to
prevent complications, especially postpartum hemorrhage, hypothermia, and
newborn asphyxia, as well as monitoring and caring from stage I to stage IV.
The conclusion of the case study with Varney's 7-step care management
and documentation in the form of SOAP, namely from stage I to stage IV
everything went normally without any complications, no complications or
problems were found in the fetus and mother, and the condition of the mother and
baby was good which was marked by signs vital signs within normal limits.
