RELATIONSHIP OF ELDERLY VISIT TO INTEGNITED FOSTEREOPOST (POSBINDU) TO THE HEALTH STATUS OF ELDERLY AT SALAK POSBINDU IN KARYAMULYA OF IN CIREBON CITY

Elderly Visits to Posbindu is the participation of the elderly in participating in
Posbindu activities in the last 1 year, measured by looking at the elderly visit data in
the register book. The health status of the elderly is an important indicator of the
quality of the health status of the elderly who are productive and useful in the
community. This study aims to analyze the relationship between visits and the health
status of the elderly. This research method uses a quantitative research type with a
Cross Sectional approach design. The instruments used are Questionnaire sheets and
Register Books of elderly visits to Posbindu. The population is all elderly at Posbindu
Salak Cirebon City in 2024. The sampling technique in this study used Purposive
sampling with a sample size of 85 people. The data used are primary data and
secondary data. The results of the study showed that elderly visits to Posbindu were
obtained by 55 respondents (64.7%) in the category of not visiting frequently and the
health status of the elderly was obtained by 40 respondents (47.1%) in the category
of poor elderly health status. The results of statistical tests using the chi-square test
obtained p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). This means that H0 is rejected and Ha is
accepted, indicating that there is a significant relationship between elderly visits to
the Posbindu and the health status of the elderly at the Salak Posbindu, Karyamulya
Village, Cirebon City.
