Abstract
ERACS (Enhanced Recovery After Caesarean Surgery) is the latest method that is
developing in the world of gynaecological obstetry, especially for patients who
require delivery with Sectio Caesarea surgery. At Mitra Plumbon Hospital, the
ERACS method will be used in 2022, this method began to be in great demand by
some patients who will give birth with Sectio Caesarea. Some post-SC patients with
the ERACS method expressed satisfaction with the procedure, among them is with
the ERACS procedure the postoperative mobilization process can be carried out
faster than conventional SC, recovery and duration of treatment are felt faster.
Patient assessment of hospital quality comes from the experience felt by patients,
as in postpartum patients with SC using the ERACS method, the experience that
patients experience postoperatively with this method is expected to increase patient
satisfaction, especially at Mitra Plumbon Hospital. This study used cross-sectional
quantitative research on postpartum patients with the ERACS method. Sampling
using total sampling for 1 month. Respondents will be assessed according to the
observation sheet and will be asked to fill out a satisfaction questionnaire against
the ERACS method that has passed the validity and reliability test and is declared
valid and reliable. The chi Square test with a significant value of α = 0.05 was used
for data analysis. KEPK ITEKes Mahardika stated that the results of the research
ethics test were "Ethical Worthy". The results of the study found the use of the
ERACS method with categories without complaints (62%) and categories with
complaints (38%), while the level of satisfaction with the satisfied category (68%)
and the dissatisfied category (32%). The results of the hypothesis with a significant
value give a value of ρ value (0.033) < α (0.05) which means that there is a
relationship between the use of the ERACS method and the level of postpartum
patient satisfaction with SC ERACS at Mitra Plumbon Hospital in 2023. Therefore,
the ERACS method is highly recommended for obstetric patients who will give birth
by cesarean section at Mitra Plumbon Hospital so that patient satisfaction is
achieved.
