QUALITY OF LIFE OF BREAST CANCER PATIENTS UNDERGOING CHEMOTHERAPY AT CIREMAI HOSPITAL CIREBON CITY

A good quality of life is needed so that a person is able to obtain good health status and maintain optimal physical function or ability. A person who has a good quality of life will have a strong will to recover and be able to improve his health status. This study aims to determine the quality of life of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Ciremai Hospital, Cirebon City in 2023. The research method used in this study is descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used simple random sampling as many as 71 respondents at Ciremai Hospital, Cirebon City. Data collection used the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. The results of this study show that the breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Ciremai Hospital, Cirebon City is moderate (8.5%), good (39.4%), very good (52.1%). It is hoped that the quality of life of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Ciremai Hospital, Cirebon City will be able to maintain a good quality of life.
