Abstract

Comprehensive midwifery care is care provided comprehensively
starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborns and family planning
with the aim of reducing maternal and child mortality rates. The aim of this
research is to provide comprehensive midwifery care to pregnant women,
postpartum women, postpartum mothers, newborns and family planning.
The method used in this research is continuity of care (COC), using the
SOAP method. Research subject Mrs. "L" which is from pregnancy, childbirth,
postpartum, newborn babies and family planning at PMB Midwife Sri Resnawati,
Kecomberan Village, Talun District, Cirebon Regency on 17 April - 12 June
2024.
The research results from pregnancy to family planning showed no gap
between theory and practice, everything went normally and in family planning the
mother and husband chose to use birth control implants. By providing
comprehensive midwifery care and IEC, it is hoped that clients can implement it
to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.
