(KTI) GOVERNANCE OF MEDICAL RECORDS AS AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP MEDICAL SECRECY IN HEALTH SERVICE RSUD PANTURA M.A SENTOT PATROL

Maintaining the confidentiality of patient medical records, required storage
space that meets the needs in maintaining security and confidentiality. The medical
record room can be said to be good if the room guarantees security and avoids the threat
of loss, negligence, disaster and anything that can harm the medical record. To find out
the management of medical record documents as an effort to protect medical secrets in
the health services of the Pantura M.A Sentot Patrol Hospital.
This type of research uses a type of descriptive research with a quantitative
approach. The population in this study is a medical record space. The sample in this
study is the medical record room by observing the management of medical record
documents. This research instrument used observations with checklist sheets on the
RSUD medical record room Pantura M.A Sentot Patrol.
At the entrance of the RSUD medical record room, the Pantura M.A Sentot
Patrol does not have a CCTV to know who can enter the medical record space.At the
entry of the Medical Record Room, the Panruta M. A Sentot Patrol does not use
fingerprints to be able to control whoever can enter a medical recording room so that the
medical Record Room can be accessed by other officers.
In order to maintain administrative records of medical records as an attempt to
keep medical secrets incentively socialize on the importance of keeping medical records
of other officers so that they do not enter the medical records room easily and officers
can implement SOPs of medical record rooms.
