(KTI) REVIEW OF SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF MEDICAL RECORD DOCUMENTS IN SUMBER WARAS HOSPITAL CIREBON DISTRICT

Security and Confidentiality are very important factors in managing medical record documents. The security of medical record documents involves the danger of damage to the medical record documents themselves. The aspects from outside the archival objects in question include physical aspects and chemical aspects. The purpose of this study was to identify the confidentiality and security of medical record documents from the physical and chemical aspects.
This type of research is descriptive research. The variables in this study are the security and confidentiality of medical record documents. The instruments in this study used data collection tools using observation sheets and a thermohygrometer by collecting observation sheets. The object of this research is the filling room at Sumber Waras Hospital, Cirebon Regency.
The results of the safety study mean that the average air temperature in the filling room is 29.1 C and humidity is between 48% to 50% and the air conditioner is not active for 24 hours which will result in damage to medical record documents. There is a lot of dust in the filling room, the dust should be cleaned immediately so that the dirt does not stick to the paper. The results of research on secrecy have already been applied to SOP on secrecy, but there are still other than medical record officers who still enter the filling room.
The conclusion that can be drawn is that the air temperature in the filling room is not suitable because it is still below normal, which should be 18°C to 28°C and 50% to 65% humidity. Dust on the medical record document rack and filling room is not cleaned, it should be cleaned every two days. Confidentiality at the Sumber Wara Hospital in Cirebon Regency was also not appropriate because there were officers other than medical record officers who entered the filling room to request medical record documents.
