Abstract

In the medical record room there are risks and require risk identification.
Therefore, to prevent work accidents for medical record personnel, Pertamina
Cirebon Hospital pays attention to work safety for its employees and pays
attention to risk identification assessments in the medical record storage room to
minimize unwanted work accidents.
The purpose of this study is to identify the risks in the medical record
storage room at Pertamina Cirebon Hospital. The method used in this research is
descriptive with a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out using
the observation method and giving a checklist sheet to medical record officers,
totaling 9 people.
The results of the study found that identifying risk factors was the presence
of noise, the officers had experienced scratches on the covers of medical record
documents, and the presence of dust in the filing room. The chemical factor is that
the officers don't smell the food, the floor smell, and the smell of fragile
documents. The biological factor is that there is no termite and insect attack. The
ergonomics factor is that the officers feel uncomfortable with the layout of the
room.
It is recommended to provide handscoons so that officers do not scratch
the cover of the medical record, clean the room so that dust is reduced, improve
the layout of the room so that officers feel comfortable.
