Abstract

Background : Along with the development of information technology such as the current development of information technology in the health sector, namely electronic medical records. RME is used in data collection, data storage, data processing and accessing data stored in patient medical records in hospitals. Electronic Medical Records at Subang Regency Hospital are still in the transition stage from conventional medical records to electronic medical records. Research Objective : To determine the readiness of medical record officers in implementing electronic medical records using the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) at the Subang Regency Hospital. Research Results : The results of the study found that the readiness to use new technology in the application of electronic medical records in the Subang Regency regional general hospital has a Low Techology Readiness level. With details of the value, namely optimism 0.168, innovativeness 0.145, discomfort 0.158, and insecure 0.153. The Low readiness value is obtained because officers are still adapting to new technology and still find it easier to use manual RME.
