(KTI) ACCURACY OF MORBIDITY DIAGNOSIS CODES IN RECAPITULATION REPORT 4A PERMATA CIREBON HOSPITAL

The importance of accurate Morbidity diagnosis codes in supporting accuracy and
accuracy in supporting reporting which has a significant impact on patient care, health
data management and appropriate medical decision making. This study aims to determine
the accuracy of Morbidity diagnosis in the 4A report recapitulation at Permata Cirebon
Hospital.
The methodology in this research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this
study was 3900 medical record documents for inpatients in October-December 2023.
Based on the Solvin formula calculation, a total of 98 samples were obtained. The sampling
technique used random sampling. The instrument for collecting data uses a check-list sheet.
Based on the results of research on the accuracy of Morbidity diagnoses in the
recapitulation of the 4A report at Permata Cirebon Hospital from 98 files, the accuracy of
Morbidity diagnosis codes was 70 with a percentage of 76.09%, while the inaccurate
Morbidity Diagnosis Codes were 28 with a percentage of 23.91%. This inaccuracy is due
to the absence of a morphology code because there is no column provided to include the
morphology code in SIMRS.
The conclusion in this study was that the accuracy of the Morbidity diagnosis in
the recapitulation of the 4A report at Permata Cirebon Hospital from 98 files, the accuracy
of the Morbidity case diagnosis code was 70 with a percentage of 76.09%.
