(KTI) ANALYSIS OF ABBREVIATIONS AND SYMBOLS OF INPATIENT DISCHARGE SUMMARY FORM FOR MIRM (12) SNARS ACCREDITATION ASSESMENT AT SUMBER WARAS HOSPITAL CIREBON

Based on a preliminary survey at Sumber Waras Hospital in Cirebon, there were several abbreviationnnnnnnn codes and symbols that were not in accordance with the guidelines taht had been set at Sumber Waras Hospital. This caused by the non-compliance and inaccuracy of doctors of officers in giving or recording a diagnosis on each sheet of medical record file. The purpose of this study was to find out the analysis of abbreviations and symbls on the inpatient discharge summary for SNARS MIRM accreditation assessment (12).
This type of research was descriptive quantitative. The research method was observation with a checklist sheet. The population for this study was all 3204 inpatient medical record documents from October to December 2022. In this study, a random sampling technique was used. The number of samples calculated using the Slovin formula was n97 inpatient medical record documents that had abbreviations and symbols.
From the results of this study it could be concluded that writing a list of abbreviations and symbols in the approriate category was 43 (44,3%) and in the inapproriate category was 54 (55,7%). The abbreviation book and symbols belonging to Sumber Waras Hospital Cirebon had not been legalized and socialized legally. And there was no SOP in accordance with SNARS MIRM 12 for abbreviations and symbols at Sumber Waras Hospital. Also there had not been an evaluationn in the implementation of the use of abbreviations and symbols as well as the booms used, there were still not a number of symbols that the abbreviations have not been listed in the abbreviation and symbols manual at Sumber Waras Hospital Cirebon.
