(KTI) ANALYSIS OF THE CALCULATION OF THE NEED FOR MEDICAL RECORD STORAGE RACKS IN THE FILLING ROOM AT THE KALITANJUNG HEALTH CENTER

Medical record management activities are carried out through recording and
documenting examination results. Medical record documenst are made in writing,
complete and clear. The Kalitanjung Health Center has 6 storage shelves that are used for
DRM storage. Preliminary observations resulted in the number of DRM patiens reaching
thousands every year, making the medical record room fully active.
The purpose of this study was to determine the need for media record document
storage racks in the filling room at the Kalitanjung Health Center. This type of research is
a quantitative descriptive method of collecting data by observation and measurement. The
sample taken is 100 DRM using systematic random sampling.
The result of the study are that the number of patient visits at the Kalitanjung
Health Center in 2022 is 46.800 people. The average thickness of the DRM sampled is 0.4
cm. The storage shelves at the Kalitanjung Health Center have a total size of 1200 cm. The
calculation result show that the prediction of DRM storage needs in 2022 is 5 shelves. The
conclusion that can be drawn is that it is necessary to procure 5 DRM storage shelves and
change the size of the storage space to 14.8 m2 to create systematic storage.
