Abstract
Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) or bed usage rate for inpatients is a number
that shows the level of bed usage in one period in the inpatient unit. The results of
the numbers processed into BOR data can be used to understand the level of use of
service facilities in hospitals and can be used in the process of making monthly
hospital reports. The aim of this research was to determine the analysis of Bed
Occupancy Rate (BOR) indicators for inpatients at Pantura M.A Sentot Patrol
Regional Hospital in Indramayu
The type of research used in this research was descriptive with a
quantitative approach. The variable in this study was the Bed Occupancy Rate
(BOR) indicator for inpatients. The objects used in this research were the
recapitulation of the Daily Inpatient Census (SHRI), the recapitulation of the
monthly census. The instrument in this study used an observation sheet.
The results of this research showed that the BOR at Pantura M.A Sentot
Patrol Hospital Indramayu in the first quarter was 49.06%, in the second quarter
it was 45.54%, in the third quarter it was 55.54%, and in the fourth quarter it was
57.57%, with Thus the average quarterly result in one year was 51.92% showed
that the BOR at Pantura M.A Sentot Patrol Hospital Indramayu is in the not ideal
category because it does not comply with the standards of the Indonesian Ministry
of Health, namely the ideal value is 60-85%. It is recommended that hospital
complete and add facilities and infrastructure for the use of beds to improve
services in accordance with standards.
