(KTI) ANALYSIS OF INPATIENT MORTALITY DATA REPORTING IMPLEMENTATION AT KMC KUNINGAN HOSPITAL

Mortality data reporting is one of the important elements in the hospital information
system used to evaluate the quality of health services. This study aims to analyze the
implementation of inpatient mortality data reporting at RSU KMC Kuningan.
The type of research used is descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. Data
collection techniques are carried out through direct observation of the input process,
processing, presentation, and reporting of mortality data using the Hospital Management
Information System (SIMRS).
Based on the research results, it shows that the data input and processing process has
been running well and computerized, and data presentation is done in the form of tables
via Microsoft Excel. However, reporting still experiences delays caused by network
disruptions and the absence of officers.
Thus, it is suggested that hospitals improve the quality of their internet networks and
the readiness of their staff. Educational institutions are also expected to strengthen
learning about SIMRS through direct practice. This study can be a reference for further
studies that discuss the effectiveness of SIMRS reporting and the quality of hospital
services.
