Abstract
The development of medical progress requires a good health information system,
in this case the Electronic Medical Record. Minister of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022
explains that every health service facility is required to maintain Electronic Medical
Records. RME has the potential to improve the quality of health services, but there are
supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of ERM. The implementation of
RME at Permata Kuningan Hospital is not yet completely perfect. Therefore, it is necessary
to assess RME implementation readiness as a first step in ERM adoption.
Research Methodology The method used in this research uses quantitative
descriptive research methods. This research instrument uses a questionnaire. The
population in this study was all medical records officers at Permata Kuningan Hospital
with a total of 22 officers and in this study used total sampling with a sample size of 22
medical records officers at Permata Kuningan Hospital.
Research results on the level of readiness for the implementation of electronic
medical records at Permata Kuningan Hospital based on organizational alignment aspects
have an average score of 30.45 in the very ready category. Furthermore, the level of
readiness for implementing electronic medical records at Permata Kuningan Hospital
based on the organizational capacity aspect is 70.55 in the very ready category. The total
average readiness score for implementing RME at Permata Kuningan Hospital is 101 in
the very ready category.
Based on the two aspects studied, namely organizational alignment and
organizational capacity. Permata Kuningan Hospital is very ready to implement electronic
medical records.
There needs to be formal training related to the implementation of ERM so that
officers are more skilled in operating and carrying out medical documentation in
implementing ERM.
