Abstract

The implementation of electronic medical records is very influential in improving
the quality of the system in hospitals. At the Muhammadiyah General Hospital in Cirebon
City, electronic medical records (RME) have been implemented, but the system is still in
the development stage that needs to be adjusted to the needs and expectations of RME
users, which is the main factor to determine the success of a system. This study aims to
review the implementation of electronic medical records at the Muhammadiyah General
Hospital, Cirebon City.
The type of research used is Descriptive research with data collection techniques
using Observation sheets (checklist). The subjects in this study were 32 officers, with
sampling using Propotional Sampling.
Based on the results of a study on the implementation of Electronic Medical
Records (EMR) at Muhammadiyah General Hospital in Cirebon City, it was concluded
that the quality of the EMR system is good. Of the 32 respondents, nearly 92% stated that
the EMR system has been implemented well. However, 8% stated that it has not been
implemented optimally, primarily due to unstable internet connection.
Thus, the implementation of Electronic Medical Records in general has been
carried out well. However, as many as 8% have not been implemented due to network
stability. This is caused by a power outage, When a power outage automatically the
network connectivity becomes unstable so that the process of entering medical data
becomes disrupted. So that if there is an error constraint, the temporary input process will
be switched using the manual system, but this also only happens at certain times.
