(KTI) REVIEW OF THE ACCURACY OF CESAREAN SECTION DELIVERY CODIFICATION IN CASES OF PREMATURE RUPTURE OF MEMBRANES AT SUMBER HURIP HOSPITAL, CIREBON REGENCY

Inaccuracies in the method of delivery, namely in the 4 character, in the ICD the
coding must be precise because it is difficult for the INA-CBGs tariff determinants. The
purpose of this study is to determine the accuracy of the codification of cesarean section
delivery at Sumber Hurip Hospital, Cirebon Regency.
This type of research uses quantitative descriptive. The research variable is a review
of the accuracy of the cesarean section coding in cases of premature rupture of membranes.
The sample obtained from this researcher with the Slovin formula was 63 documents. The
population in this researcher was 175 documents. The data collection technique used
observation with a research instrument, namely a checklist sheet.
Based on the results of research obtained from 63 samples of medical record
documents in cesarean section labor, cases of premature rupture of membranes showed that
the correct documents were 55 and incorrect documents were 8. The inaccuracy of the
codification of cesarean section delivery in cases of premature rupture of membranes
obtained data as much as 12.7%, this happened because it was not in accordance with the
ICD and the coder did not pay attentionto the seepage time of the broken membranes until
entering the hospital. Socialize coders to re-check the coding that is done late so that there
are no inaccuracie.
