(KTI) ANALYSIS OF THE USE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN IMPROVING ACCESIBILITY OF MEDICAL RECORD DATA AT PERMATA KUNINGAN HOSPITAL

Information technology is an unavoidable aspect in this modern era, playing
a very important role in the helath sector including in hospitals.Thus, medical
recorders provide services with the existing technological advancements. One
aspect of medic record management is teh access rights of a medical recorder to
medical sara. Electronik medical record are lifetime records of patients in
electronic format. The purpose of this research was understnad the Use of
information Technology in Improving Accessibility of Medical Record Data at
Permata Kuningan Hospital
This type of research used descriptive quantitative methods. The population
in this study was all medical record officers, while the research sampel consist of a
total sampling o 21 medical record officers, and the instrument used in thisresearch
was a questionnaire.
The research result on 21 respondents indicated that the implementarion of
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) has a positive impact on data accesibility.
Indicators such as accuracy, precision, relevance, understnadability, conciseness,
and informativeness showed a value of 86 %. Hospitals should conduct continouos
evaluation or sovialization regarding the use of information technology in
improving data accesibility. This is very important for the storage of electronic
medical records.
