Comprehensive obstetric care is a care that is given thoroughly starting from pregnancy,
childbirth, postpartum and newborns are important for the survival of mothers and babies.
This is to overcome and it is necessary to carry out comprehensive obstetric care which
aims to provide continuous midwifery care to pregnant women, maternity, newborns,
postpartum and family planning for pregnant women in the third trimester, namely Mrs. E
G3P2A0 with a gestational age of 39 weeks days at the Babakan Health Center in the
period of February- May 2025.
The type of report used in this case study is based on a descriptive method with data
collection methods through interviews, physical examinations, and documentation. The
results of the care provided during pregnancy were 1 visit, 1 delivery, 3 newborns, 4
postpartum and 1 family planning. The process that occurred to Mrs. E went smoothly and
there were no complications during the care provided. After the postpartum period was
over, the mother used a 3-month injection of birth control as the desired contraceptive
option.
It is expected that mothers are able to be aware of high risks and increase their knowledge.
For the author, it is able to increase knowledge, skills, and understanding from practical
experience according to the established midwifery service standards according to the
