Abstract
Comprehensive midwifery care is care that is provided comprehensively starting from
pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborns which is important for the survival of
mothers and babies, including important things to reduce maternal and infant mortality
rates. This case study aims to provide and implement midwifery care for Mrs. R. “R”
G4P2A1 with a gestational age of 37 weeks at the Sindanglaut Health Center from
February to May 2025.
This type of report uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The care
methods used are interviews, observations, documentation in the form of SOAP. The care
provided is in the form of 2 pregnancy visits, 1 delivery, 4 postpartum visits, 3 newborns.
At the beginning of the visit, the mother had no complaints. Mrs. “R”'s delivery took place
normally at 39 weeks of gestation, no complications were found. Mrs. “R”'s baby was born
spontaneously on April 3, 2025 at 06.00 WIB, female gender, crying loudly, with a BB of
3050 grams and a PB of 50 cm. During the postpartum period, the mother had no
complaints, a little breast milk had come out. In the care of newborns, no problems or
complications were found. After the postpartum period ended, the mother had used a 3-
month injection of contraception.
After the author conducted pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn, and family
planning care on Mrs. "R" aged 33 years P3A1, it can be concluded that in carrying out
comprehensive midwifery services there were no gaps or danger signs experienced by the
mother and newborn. Suggestions for health workers, and can implement comprehensive
care according to midwifery service standards and follow the development of science.
