Abstract
Comprehensive midwifery care is care provided comprehensively starting from
pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum, and family planning. Comprehensive
midwifery care is important for the survival of mothers and babies, including being
important in reducing MMR and IMR. This case study aims to provide and implement
midwifery care for Mrs. "S" G1P0A0 with a gestational age of 38 weeks 2 days at the
UPTD Jamblang Health Center, Cirebon Regency from February to April 2024. The
benefits of this comprehensive midwifery care are to increase knowledge of midwifery
care, especially pregnancy, childbirth, BBL, postpartum up to family planning.
This type of report uses a descriptive method with a comprehensive midwifery
care approach. The care methods used are interviews, observation and documentation in
the form of SOAP. The instruments used are Assessment Formats, KIA Books,
Observation Sheets, and Partograph Sheets.
The care provided was from 2x pregnancy assessments, without any
complications. The delivery care provided in stages I, II, III and IV was normal without
complications. BBL care with 4x visits, the baby's condition is good without any
problems or complications, Mrs. "S" was born on February 28 2024 at 12.30 WIB,
gender female, crying BB 3000 grams and PB 50 cm. The care provided during the
postpartum period was carried out 4 times without any complications or difficulties. After
the postpartum period is over, the mother uses injectable birth control for 3 months with
her husband's approval and at her own will.
It can be concluded that the care provided during pregnancy, childbirth, BBL,
postpartum and family planning runs smoothly without complications or complications.
Suggestions from this report are to apply the midwifery care provided to increase
knowledge and experience, to prevent risks in comprehensive midwifery care.
