Abstract

Comprehensive Midwifery Care is midwifery management that is carried out
on an ongoing basis, namely the provision of midwifery care starting from
pregnancy, birth, newborns, postpartum, as well as contraceptive services carried
out in an effort to reduce the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality
Rate (IMR), namely by early detection of the condition pregnant women so that
there are no complications or problems.
This type of report uses the case study method which uses a 7-step varney
midwifery management approach and is documented in SOAP form. The results of
this research were that the researcher provided comprehensive midwifery care, the
care provided was in the form of 2 pregnancy visits, 4 births, 4 times newborns, 4
times postpartum and family planning.
The conclusion after the author implemented comprehensive midwifery care
for Mrs. "S" during pregnancy midwifery care was that there was a gap between
theory and practice regarding TT Immunization Status. During midwifery care for
birth, newborns, postpartum and family planning, the process is normal and there
is no gap between theory and practice.
