Abstract

Comprehensive obstetric care is a care that is given thoroughly starting
from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborns are important for the
survival of mothers and babies. This is to overcome and it is necessary to carry out
comprehensive obstetric care which aims to provide continuous midwifery care to
pregnant women, maternity, newborns, postpartum and family planning for
pregnant women in the third trimester, namely Mrs. M G2P1A0 with a gestational

age of 37 weeks 4 days at the Pasaleman Health Center in the period of February-
May 2024.

The type of report used in this case study is based on descriptive
observational methods with data collection methods through interviews, physical
examinations, and documentation. The results of care given during pregnancy are
1 visit, 1 delivery, 4 newborns, 4 postpartum and 1 birth control. The process that
happened to Mrs. M went smoothly and there were no sulters during the care
provided.
After the postpartum period is over, the mother uses 3 months of injectable
birth control for the desired contraceptive option. It is hoped that the mother is able
to be aware of high risks and increase the mother's knowledge.
For the author is able to improve knowledge, skills, and understanding from
practical experience according to midwifery service standards that have been set
in accordance with the authority of midwives.
