Abstract

Comprehensive midwifery care is the provision of midwifery care starting from
pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum, and contraceptive services. Based on data
from the Cirebon Regency Health Office, the number of maternal mortality cases (MMR)
in Cirebon Regency in 2020 was 40 mothers out of 47,530 live births with the cause of
Hypertension in pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to provide comprehensive
midwifery care to Mrs. "D" starting from pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum and
family planning using the SOAP approach.
This type of research uses a descriptive method. using a case study, the sample in
the case study was a pregnant woman in the third trimester, Mrs. "D" UK 37 weeks, and
was willing to be a respondent. The location of data collection was at the Gegesik Health
Center, Cirebon Regency, data collection through primary and secondary data using SOAP
documentation, since the period February - May 2024.
The results of this study Pregnancy care was carried out 2 times at the age of 37 -
38 weeks without any complaints. Normal delivery care was carried out on April 9, 2024.
Overall, Mrs. "D"'s case was physiological with no complications, the baby was born
spontaneously, female gender without any abnormalities, the postpartum period was
carried out 4 times, no problems were found and Mrs. "D" chose a 3-month injection of
Family Planning Contraception as a contraceptive. Overall, Mrs. "D"'s condition from the
third trimester of pregnancy to Family Planning was classified as physiological and the care
provided was in accordance with midwifery management.
