Abstract
Comprehensive midwifery care is care that is provided comprehensively
starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, family planning, and newborns,
which is important for the survival of mothers and babies, including important
things to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. This case study aims to
provide and implement midwifery care for Mrs. "J" G2P1A0 with a gestational
age of 37 weeks at the Gebang Health Center from February to May 2025.
This type of report uses a descriptive method with a continuity of care
approach. The care methods used are interviews, observations, and
documentation in the form of SOAP. The care provided is in the form of 2
pregnancy visits, 1 childbirth, 4 postpartum visits, 1 family planning visit, 3 BBL
visits.
At the beginning of the visit, the mother had no complaints. Mrs. "J"'s delivery
took place normally at a gestational age of 40-41 weeks, no complications were
found. Mrs. J's baby was born spontaneously on March 21, 2025 at 21.50 WIB,
female, cried loudly, with a BB of 3,200 gr and a PB of 52 cm. During the
postpartum period, the mother had no complaints from the first visit to the end.
No problems or complications were found in newborn care. After the postpartum
period ended, the mother used a 3-month injection contraceptive.
After the author carried out pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, family
planning, and newborn care on Mrs. J aged 33 years P2A0, it can be concluded
that in carrying out comprehensive midwifery services, there were no gaps or
danger signs experienced by the mother and newborn. Suggestions for the author
are to implement comprehensive care according to midwifery service standards
and follow the development of science.
