Abstract
Comprehensive midwifery care is care provided comprehensively starting from
pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborn babies, which is important for the survival
of mothers and babies, including being important in reducing the Maternal Mortality Rate
(MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR). The aim of this Final Project Report is for the
author to be able to provide comprehensive midwifery care during pregnancy, childbirth,
postpartum, newborns and family planning services.
This type of report uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The care
methods used are observation, interviews and documentation in the form of SOAP.
The care provided is in the form of 1 visit for pregnancy, 1 time for delivery, 4
postpartum visits, and 4 times for newborns. During pregnancy, the mother never
complained. Mrs. Baby Mrs. "A" was born on April 17 2024 at 21.15 WIB, female, crying
strongly, with a weight of 3,150 grams and a body weight of 50 cm. During the postpartum
period, the mother had no complaints. There were no complications found in the newborn
baby. After the postpartum period ends, the mother uses injectable birth control for 3
months.
The conclusion after the author carried out comprehensive obstetric care for Mrs.
"A" was obtained that Mrs. "A" during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn and
birth control was normal and there was no gap between theory and practice.
Suggestions for Patients It is expected as motivation and support for pregnant
women to check their pregnancy with health workers as a form to prevent and overcome
complications in pregnant women, childbirth, postpartum, and family planning.
