Abstract

Comprehensive midwifery care is midwifery care that is provided comprehensively from
pregnancy, maternity, newborn, postpartum, neonatal to family planning. This midwifery care is
provided as a form of implementing the functions, activities and responsibilities of midwives in
providing services to clients and is an effort to reduce MMR and IMR. This case study aims to
provide comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. D, 28 years old G2P1A0 with a gestational age of 37
weeks (Continue Of Care).
This type of report uses a descriptive observational method, with direct observation of
pregnant patients in the third trimester of gestation aged 36-42 weeks in the normal category with
a case study approach. The care methods used are interviews, observation and documentation in the
form of SOAP.
The results of this case study are that the care provided was in the form of 3 prenatal visits,
1 delivery, 4 postpartum and 3 normal newborn visits. It is hoped that suggestions for health workers
can become input and consideration in improving the quality of comprehensive midwifery care
services from pregnancy to family planning services.
