Abstract

Comprehensive midwifery care is care provided comprehensively starting from
pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum and family planning. Comprehensive
midwifery care is important in providing services as an effort to reduce MMR and IMR.
This case study aims to provide and implement midwifery care for Mrs. “T” G1P0A0 with
a gestational age of 36 weeks at the UPTD Gegesik Health Center, Cirebon Regency from
March to May 2024. The benefits of this comprehensive midwifery care is to increase
knowledge of midwifery care, especially in pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum
and family planning.
This type of report uses a descriptive observational method with an approach
carried out through comprehensive midwifery care. The care methods used are interviews,
observation and documentation in the form of SOAP. The instruments used are assessment
formats, observation formats, development recording sheets, MCH books, baby cards and
partograph sheets.
The care provided was 4x pregnancy assessments, without any complications.
The delivery care provided in stages I, II, III, IV was normal without any complications.
BBL care with 4x breast care, the baby's general condition is good, there are signs of
difficulties or complications. Baby Mrs. "T" was born on April 13 2024 at 10.00 WIB,
male, crying strongly, BB 3400 grams, and PB 49 cm. The care provided during the
postpartum period was visited 4 times without any problems or complications. After the
postpartum period is over, Mrs. "T" uses MAL KB (Lactational Amenorrhoea Method) for
the reason of waiting for menstruation and after her husband comes home from work from
Jakarta, she will use 3-month injectable KB with her husband's permission.
It can be concluded that the care provided during pregnancy, childbirth, BBL,
postpartum and family planning does not involve any complications. Suggestions from this
report are to apply the midwifery care provided to increase knowledge and experience, to
prevent risks in comprehensive midwifery care.
