Abstract

ISPA belongs to the group of airborne diseases whose disease is transmitted through
the air. ISPA is influenced by various factors, one of which is immunization status.
ISPA in Cirebon Regency is the top 10 diseases in each health center, there are
77,458 cases in 2020. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship
between immunization status and the incidence of ISPA in toddlers in the working
area of the Talun Health Center, Cirebon Regency.
The research method used was a cross sectional data collection method. The sample
in this study used proportional random sampling obtained by 98 children under
five. The instrument used was an interview using a questionnaire sheet. Data
analysis used univariate and bivariate with chi-square test.
The results showed that the majority of toddlers who were immunized were
incomplete as much as 53 (54.1%), and the incidence of ISPA was mostly 52
(53.1%). The results of the chi-square test analysis obtained a p-value of 0.003 ≤ α
(0.05) which means that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, so it can be
concluded that there is a significant relationship between immunization status and
the incidence of ISPA in toddlers in the working area of the Talun Health Center,
Cirebon Regency.
