THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMMUNITY KNOWLEDGE AND THE UTILISATION OF GREEN OPEN SPACES IN THE WORKING AREA OF PUSKESMAS KESAMBI, CIREBON CITY

Green Open Space (RTH) has an important role in improving the quality of the
environment and the welfare of the community.environment and community welfare.
Public knowledge about the benefits of green spaces can influence the level of utilization in daily life.This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about
green spaces with the level of utilization of green spaces in the working area of the
Kesambi Health Center, Cirebon City. This research method uses a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. quantitative analytic design with a crosssectional approach. The population of this study is the community in the working area
of the Kesambi health center in Cirebon city with a total of 45 people. The sampling
technique in this study was purposive sampling using the slovin formula. The instrument
used was questionnaire.
Results analysis using the spearman test obtained a p value of 0.000. So the
conclusion of the results of this study shows that there is a very strong and significant
relationship between community knowledge and space utilization. strong and significant
relationship between public knowledge and the utilization of green utilization of green
open space in the working area of puskesmas kesambi, Cirebon city.
It is hoped that the health center can make the results of this study as information or additional material for counseling activities related to public knowledge with
the utilization of green open space.
