THE ROLE OF KADER EPACTER AND THE ATTITUDE OF PEOPLE IN THE ERADICATION OF MOSQUITOES IN THE LOSARI REGION OF LABOR

Community attitude is the most important role to prevent and break the chain of
transmission of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever by destroying Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever
larvae/larvae by carrying out activities to eradicate mosquito nests through 3M Plus. The
purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the role of larva
monitoring cadres and community attitudes in eradicating mosquito nests in the Losari
Health Center Work Area.
The research method in this study used an analytic survey with a cross sectional
approach. The population, namely the heads of families in Panggangsari Village, is 171
heads of families. The sample in this study used simple random sampling of 119
respondents. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire sheet.
The results showed that the role of cadres as larva monitors was mostly low, as many as
76 respondents (63,9%). Community Attitudes in Eradicating Mosquito Nests mostly had
a positive attitude, as many as 42 respondents (35,3%). Based on statistical tests to find
out the relationship between the two variables using Chi-Square, a p value of 0.000 was
obtained, thus the results showed that there was a relationship between the role of cadres
of larva monitors and community attitudes in eradicating mosquito nests. The role of
cadres of larva monitors is very important in changing people's attitudes towards
eradicating mosquito nests as an effort to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever by
monitoring Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae.
