Abstract

Prolanis is a government program to maintain health for people with chronic diseases
who are registered as participants in the National Health Insurance (JKN). Achieving
optimal quality of life with effective and efficient service costs is the goal of Prolanis
itself. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationship between
adherence to prolanis and the quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus at the
Suranenggala Health Center, Cirebon Regency in 2023. This type of research was
analytic observational using the cross-sectional method with a sampling technique,
namely total sampling. The number of samples is 58 people. Measuring tool to measure
the level of adherence of participants in taking prolanis is the attendance observation
sheet, while to measure the quality of life with the DQOL questionnaire. Data analysis in
this study was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. The
results of the research ethics test were declared "Ethically Eligible" from KEPK ITEKes
Mahardika. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the compliance rate was
high at 70.7% (n=41) and the quality of life for most of the participants was good,
namely 72.4% (n=42). Statistical test results obtained pvalue = 0.000 (p <0.05). It can be
concluded that the higher the level of adherence in following prolanis, the better the
quality of life of diabetes mellitus patients at the Suranenggala Health Center, Cirebon
