EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROFESSIONAL NURSING PRACTICE MODEL (MPKP) PILAR IV FOR HEALTH WORKER IN SUMBER KASIH HOSPITAL CIREBON

Background: The professional nursing practice model (MPKP) is a system (structure,
process and professional values) that facilitates professional nurses, regulates the
provision of nursing care, including the environment in which the care is provided. The
Professional Nursing Practice Model has four professional pillars which guide the
implementation of MPKP, namely Management approach, Compensation and reward,
Professional relationship, Nursing care management (Patient care delivery).
Method: This research is a type of quantitative research with a correlational descriptive
research design. The research design used was cross sectional. The sample selection
used the total sampling method, with a population of 30 nurses in the Kintamani ward, a
total sample of 30 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire to determine the
evaluation of the implementation of the MPKP.
Results: the majority (90%) in the good category of respondents applied the Nursing
Care Process in the MPKP at Sumber Kasih Hospital Cirebon, it was found that the
majority (76.6%) in the good category of respondents applied the Nursing Process
Standards in the MPKP at Sumber Kasih Hospital Cirebon, it was found that the majority
(63.3%) in the good category, respondents implemented the Evaluation of the
Implementation of Nursing Actions in MPKP at Sumber Kasih Hospital, Cirebon
, it was found that the majority (76.6%) in the good category of respondents implemented
the Evaluation of the Implementation of health education in MPKP at Sumber Kasih
Hospital, CirebonSuggestion: It is hoped that the implementation of the Professional
Nursing Practice Model (MPKP) can provide optimal service to patients and families so
as to reduce complaints to hospitals.
