Abstract

Socialization is a form of interaction between a person and the surrounding environment.
Promiscuity among teenagers today often occurs, therefore it needs to be considered by
parents in particular, so that children do not take actions that violate the rules, such as
establishing relationships with the opposite sex, as well as using illegal drugs.
This study uses a quantitative research design using a descriptive correlational method
with a cross-sectional approach. The sample of this study were adolescents in Bantarujeg
Village, Majalengka Regency, with 85 respondents sampling with non probability
sampling, the instrument used was a questionnaire and data analysis using the Sperman
rank statistical test with a significance value of 0.000.
The results of this study indicate that most of the respondents who experienced a good
family role were 36.5%, 63.5% were less good, most of them experienced mild
promiscuity as much as 21.2%, moderate by 28.2%, severe by 50.6 in the spearman rank
test with a ρ value of 0.000 and rcount 0.582
